UK Women’s Soccer Signs Star-Studded Recruiting Class

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky women’s soccer team signed another star-studded recruiting class on Tuesday afternoon, the Wildcats head coach Ian Carry announced.
 
The signing period marked the first-ever early signing period in November for the sport of women’s soccer, and Carry took advantage, delivering three crucial and star-studded NLI’s to the Bell Soccer Complex in Lexington.

Madison Rennie
Columbus, Ohio
Midfielder
Madison Rennie joins the Wildcats out of Columbus, Ohio and the coveted Ohio Premier Soccer Club. She committed to the Wildcats in her freshman season after she attended and was a standout at UK’s high school team camp. A midfielder, Madison currently plays for and captains Ohio Premier, in the highest club conference in the nation.
 
Ian Carry on Madison Rennie
“Coached by Willie Gage, Madison is a player who we identified as someone who could develop into something special, and this has come to fruition. This development has contributed to Madison being recruited by multiple power-five schools, but she has stayed loyal to Kentucky due to the amazing relationships that we have created with her in the recruiting process. She will be a huge addition to our midfield.”

Hannah Richardson
Bartlett, Illinois
Forward
Hannah Richardson joins the Wildcats out of Sockers FC in Chicago, and headlines the 2019 recruiting class for the Wildcats. Richardson committed to UK in the summer of her sophomore to junior years. She is a forward and currently leads the entire nation in goal scoring, averaging two goals per match in national club soccer. She is the captain for Sockers FC – where UK also grabbed Courtney Raetzman (UK, ’15). Richardson is coached by her father, who is the owner and director of Sockers FC.
 
Ian Carry on Hannah Richardson
“Hannah is going to be a huge addition to our front line. She is someone that I believe is going to break records at the University of Kentucky and help us rise to new heights. She is the whole package, as she is academically in the top five percent of her class academically and has a 3.8 GPA. Her character and integrity fits perfectly into the culture that we are creating at Kentucky. “

Stephanie Stull
Weddington, North Carolina
Goalkeeper
Stephanie Stull joins the Wildcats as a goalkeeper out of Weddington, North Carolina. Stull committed to the Wildcats as a sophomore and currently plays for the Charlotte Soccer Academy, within the highest club soccer conference in the country. Stephanie is coached by United States National Team U-20 GK coach Philip Poole. Academically, she is at the top of her class with a 4.5 GPA and a 1480 SAT.
 
Ian Carry on Stephanie Stull
“Steph was highly recruited by numerous schools in the North Carolina and South Carolina area. She will be a good addition to our goalkeeping staff and is predicted to push for a starting spot. Her character and integrity fits perfectly into the culture we are creating within the women’s soccer program here at Kentucky.”
