LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky women’s soccer team will return

UK is coming off a 2-1 loss to the No. 5 Florida Gators on
Thursday night in Lexington. The Gators did not score until deep into the
second half and Kentucky took them into double overtime. UF’s, Savannah Jordan
scored at 83:56. Kentucky’s Zoe Swift then responded quickly with her goal at
88.26. Then it wasn’t until the second overtime that Florida’s Meggie
Daugherty-Howard scored the goal that gave them the victory.
This week’s matchup will be only the second time that the
Racers and the Wildcats have faced off in school history. The only other time
was in 2001 where the Racers were defeated by the Wildcats 2-1.
