Camp Directors and Staff

a-madison2.jpg Head Coach Keith Madison

Head Coach Keith Madison, in his 25th season at the helm of the Wildcats, has developed 46 All-SEC performers, 16 All-Americans and 85 professional baseball players. Madison is recognized for his coaching skills nationwide, and has served as pitching coach for the US National Team. In January 2000, Madison began a term as president of the American Baseball Coaches Association. Madison played professionally for five years in the Montreal Expos’ and Cincinnati Reds’ organizations, reaching Triple-A before a knee injury sidelined his career. He was named head coach of the Cats at the age of 26 and has racked up over 600 wins in his career.
a-weisberg.jpg Assistant Coach Jan Weisberg

Assistant Coach Jan Weisberg will direct hitting camp and assist with fielding and catchingcamps. In his 10th season with the Cats, Weisberg serves as UK’s hitting instructor and third base coach. Weisberg played catcher and first base for UK in 1991 & 1992 and graduated with a degree in economics in 1993. A respected baseball mind in the SEC, Weisberg has earned a reputation as one of the brightest young coaches in the nation.
a-goff.jpg Assistant Coach Greg Goff

Assistant Coach Greg Goff will serve as the camp’s pitching instructor. A fourth-year Cat coach, Goff has developed his reputation as an Outstanding pitching coach at Southeast Missouri and Delta State. In his stints at SEMO and DSU, Goff guided several All-America pitchers and top-10 MLB draft picks.

Many other carefully selected and well qualified coaches and lecturers (including former UK players who are playing professionally and current UK players) will instruct during this camp.
