University Club of Kentucky

Home of Kentucky Wildcat Golf

4850 Leestown Road Lexington, KY 40506

Opened in 1992, the University Club is a semi-private club licensed by UK. The U-Club is the official home of the men’s and women’s golf teams and is the host site for all of UK’s tournaments.

Internationally renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills designed the renovations to the 36-hole championship course. The University Club features the Big Blue Course (par 72, 7,013 yards) and the Wildcat Course (par 71, 6,680 yards). The courses are complemented by a dozen lakes and ponds, providing players with a beautiful and challenging round of golf.

“This club is a great asset for the University of Kentucky,” Director of Golf Operations Bettie Lou Evans said. “Having a facility like this that we can call our own should make a tremendous difference. The University Club will boost recruiting and allow us more practice time. Plus, we plan on expanding with an indoor facility in the future. All these things give our golfers great opportunities to succeed.”

The clubhouse is filled with UK memorabilia and contains private meeting rooms that serve to host a variety of University-related conferences, events and meetings.

The Club is located at 4850 Leestown Rd., 7.4 miles northwest of downtown Lexington in Fayette County, convenient to I-64 and I-75.
