Kentucky Set for Home-Heavy 2019 Football Schedule
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Eight home games highlight Kentucky’s 2019 football schedule, which will open with a pair of Mid-American Conference foes, it was announced by the Southeastern Conference on Tuesday.
The Wildcats play host to Toledo in the season opener on August 31 before Eastern Michigan comes to Kroger Field for the second time in three seasons. The three-game home stand that opens the season concludes with the SEC opener against Florida on September 14.
September ends with a pair of road games at Mississippi State and South Carolina before an open date on October 5. In a rare twist, the Cats will have a second open date on November 2 before a four-game closing stretch that begins with Tennessee at home on Nov. 9, has a road trip to Vanderbilt on Nov. 16 and a matchup with UT Martin on Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 23). The regular season will be capped with a home matchup against intrastate rival Louisville on Senior Day.

For the ninth time in the past 11 seasons conference play begins with a matchup against Florida. The Cats conclude the 2019 regular season against Louisville at Kroger Field.
Game times, ticket information and additional details will be released at a later date.
