Men’s Golf Closes Out September at Windon Memorial Classic
LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Kentucky men’s golf team heads to the Chicago metropolitan area where the Wildcats will compete at the Windon Memorial Classic this Monday and Tuesday. The tournament, hosted by Northwestern, will be held at Onwentsia Club (par 70, 6,716 yards).
UK is one of 16 teams in the field for the 54-hole event, which will serve as Kentucky’s third tournament of the season. Rounds one and two will take place on Monday, with a shotgun start scheduled for 9:30 a.m. ET. Tuesday’s final round will feature tee times beginning at 9 a.m. ET.

The Wildcats tied for seventh at the Bearcat Invitational their last time on the course, going 1-over par as a team at Coldstream Country Club. Sophomore Gabriel Hull was the top individual finisher for the Cats, nabbing a T14 result at 1-under par.
Kentucky’s starting lineup for the Windon consists of Cole Stockard, Hull, Jacob Lang, Cameron Phillips and Jacob Settles. Stockard, Hull and Lang are all making their third appearance in the starting five this season, while Phillips and Settles each get their second start. It is the third unique starting lineup for the Cats in as many events.
Through two tournaments, Stockard leads Kentucky with a 70.0 scoring average and five rounds under par. Hull, a transfer from Emmanuel University, has also made an immediate impact. He boasts UK’s two lowest rounds of the season thus far, a 66 (-4) at the Visit Knox Collegiate and a 65 (-6) at the Bearcat Invitational.
This week marks Kentucky’s second ever appearance at the Windon Memorial Classic. Back in 2024, the Cats placed 10th at Conway Farms Golf Club.
