Wildcats Set for Bearcat Invitational

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Kentucky men’s golf team will compete for the second time this fall as the Wildcats head to the Bearcat Invitational, hosted by the University of Cincinnati at Coldstream Country Club (par 71, 7,279 yards), Sept. 14-15.

Kentucky joins a field of 17 teams for the event, which is being contested for the 12th time in 2026. UK has competed in the tournament on seven occasions, including a ninth-place result a year ago. The Cats have one win at the event, which came back in 2017.

Kentucky opened its 2026-27 season at the Visit Knox Collegiate earlier this month, where they placed 15th and were led by a T13 finish from sophomore Cole Stockard. Stockard fired three consecutive rounds of 69 (-1), beginning his season with what was the fifth top-20 finish of his college career.

Stockard heads this week’s lineup for the Wildcats, followed by Jacob Lang, Gabriel Hull, Gavin Clutts and Cameron Phillips. Jacob Settles will also make the short trip north, competing as an individual.

Rounds one and two of the Bearcat Invitational will be played continuously on Monday, beginning with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The final round will take place on Tuesday, also commencing with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
