LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky women’s soccer team (2-0-0, 0-0-0 SEC) is set to hit the road for the first time this season as they take on the Dayton Flyers (1-1-0, 0-0-0 A-10). The match is set to begin at Baujan Field in Dayton at 7 p.m. ET and will also be available to stream on the ESPN + with Alex Mikos and Scott Helton on the call.
The Wildcats have outshot their opponents 56-5 throughout the first week of play, taking a win most recently on Monday against the Kent State Golden Flashes, 5-2.
Freshman Kyla Dawn and senior Nadia Ramadan lead the team in points so far this season with 6 apiece. On Monday, both Dawn & Ramadan scored one and Dawn assisted two of her teammates in addition.
Dayton is 1-1-0 in the season so far and is coming off their first win against Cleveland State, 2-1. In the season opener, they faced off against No. 20 West Virginia where they fell 2-0 on the road. They are coming off an A-10 Championship and undefeated season in 2025.
The Wildcats are looking to grab a win on the road on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET. They hope to move onto 3-0-0 before heading to Columbus next week to face a top 25 Ohio State squad on Thursday, Aug. 27.
