Kentucky Volleyball Featured in 11 National TV Matches for 2026
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Volleyball team and its television partners announced Wednesday that UK will be featured in 11 regular season nationally-televised linear matches for 2026, the most in program history.
One of the highlights of the television schedule will be Kentucky’s first-ever regular-season home match on ABC as UK plays Louisville on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 3 p.m. ET. It is one of at least two over-the-air windows guaranteed for Kentucky as the Wildcats will also play Penn State on FOX from Wrigley Field on Sunday, Sept. 10.
Both of Kentucky’s opening weekend matches at the AVCA First Serve will be on ESPN as Kentucky plays Wisconsin at 9 p.m. ET on Sept. 21 and closes week zero with a 4 p.m. ET match vs. Pitt on ESPN Sunday afternoon.
Kentucky it total will play five matches on ESPN for 2026, including the always-anticipated Kentucky vs. Florida match, which has decided the last 13 SEC regular season championships, which will be in Gainesville on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 8:30 p.m. ET. The match will be part of ESPN’s new Women’s Sports Sunday campaign with a pregame show at the top of the hour. Also on ESPN, Kentucky will play Texas (Sept. 27) and a national championship rematch vs. Texas A&M on Oct. 25.
The Wildcats will be featured in three SEC Network matches, including the SEC/ACC Challenge on Wednesday, Sept. 9 against North Carolina. Kentucky opens SEC play in Nashville against Vanderbilt on Sept. 23 in a match broadcasted by the SECN, as well as a Wednesday night border battle in Knoxville against the Tennessee Lady Vols at 7 p.m. ET.
SEC Network and SECN+ will combine to televise the entire SEC Volleyball Tournament beginning Friday, Nov. 20 at EnMarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia. SEC Network will carry the first round, quarterfinals, semifinals and championship match with SECN+ carrying the four second-round matches Saturday.
