Gavin Clutts Honored on SEC Community Service Team
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Southeastern Conference announced its Community Service Team for the sport of men’s golf on Wednesday, naming Kentucky’s Gavin Clutts as an honoree in recognition of his superior community service efforts.
The UK sophomore engaged in several community-oriented activities throughout the 2025-26 season. He made several trips to Lexington Country Club to play golf with kids, offering instruction and companionship to aspiring young golfers in the area. Clutts also spent time as a mentor with the organization Big Brother Big Sister, which helps create and support one-on-one mentoring relationships that ignite the promise and power of youth. Additionally, he participated in Operation Christmas Child, preparing food packages for kids.
On the course, Clutts played seven events in 2025-26 and posted a 72.07 scoring average across 15 rounds. He started for the Wildcats at The Williams Cup, where he tied for 32nd. He also secured a top 10 finish at the Cullan Brown Collegiate, finishing the tournament at 3-under par. Clutts entered as a substitute in round three of both the SEC Championship and the NCAA Bermuda Run Regional. At Bermuda Run, Clutts fired a 68 (-3) in his lone round to lead the team on the final day.
