Kentucky STUNT Falls to Top-Ranked CBU on Saturday
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Kentucky STUNT team fell to top-ranked California Baptist 27-18 on Saturday night in the 2026 Division I College STUNT Nationals at Allen Arena.
With the loss, Kentucky’s school-record winning streak was snapped at 21. The Cats are now 30-3 on the season.
In quarter one, partner stunts, the Lancers claimed seven points compared to four for the Cats. The second quarter, pyramids and tosses, saw CBU earn seven more points, while UK again claimed four. The Lancers led 14-8 at halftime.
Quarter three, jumps and tumbling, saw California Baptist earn six points, while Kentucky scored five. In the final period, team routine, the Lancers claimed seven points while the Cats scored five.
Kentucky plays again tomorrow, facing Cal Poly at 12:15 p.m. ET. If UK wins, the Cats would face California Baptist in the national championship game.
