Kentucky STUNT Breaks Program Record for Wins

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Kentucky STUNT team began the 2026 Division I College STUNT Nationals with a 23-11 win over Cal Poly on Friday at Allen Arena.

The win was Kentucky’s 30th of the season, breaking the program record of 29 wins which was set last season.

In Friday’s victory, Kentucky took an early lead and never looked back. The first quarter, partner stunts, saw the Cats earn six points compared to two for the Mustangs. In quarter two, pyramids and tosses, UK earned seven points, while CPU claimed three.

In quarter three, jumps and tumbling, Kentucky got seven points while Cal Poly earned five. And in the final period, team routine, Kentucky needed just one routine to close out the game, winning four points to one for the Mustangs.

Kentucky returns to action in the 2026 Division I College STUNT Nationals on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. ET, facing the winner of Saturday morning’s game between California Baptist and Missouri State.
