Kentucky Football Spring Game, Presented by KFB, What You Need to Know
LEXINGTON, KY —Big Blue Nation’s first look at the 2026 Kentucky Football Team and new head coach Will Stein will be at the Spring Game, presented by Kentucky Farm Bureau, on Saturday, April 18, 2026 inside Kroger Field. Kickoff is at 11 a.m. ET.
Seating and Admission
- General admission tickets are free, but fans must still claim a ticket due to limited capacity.
- Walkup tickets can be claimed at the Ticket Office windows between gates 9-10.
- Due to construction on the north side of the stadium, the capacity will be decreased for the Spring Game. Tickets might not be available on gameday, so those interested in attending should claim tickets as soon as possible:

Parking
- Free parking is available around Kroger Field on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Fans are asked to avoid the purple lot as that will be prioritized for fans attending the UK Baseball game at 2 p.m.
Plan your Gameday
- Parking lots open at 9 a.m. ET
- Kroger Field Gates and the Ticket Office open at 10 a.m.
- The field will begin warmups at 10:30 a.m. ET
- The game will kick off at 11 a.m. ET
- Kentucky Baseball plays Vanderbilt at Kentucky Proud Park at 2 p.m. ET and Coach Stein will throw out the first pitch.
- The UK Team Shop will be selling new Nike “Feed the Studs” T-Shirts.
Game Format
The teams will be split into the blue team and the white team. The offense will wear blue, and the defense will wear white. The full team will run out of the center tunnel together with the Wildcat Marching Band playing the fight song “On, On, U of K.”
The game will feature four, 15-minute quarters. The second half could be a running clock based on coaches’ decision.
For the scoring format, the offense gets six points for a touchdown, one point for an extra point, two points for a conversion from the 2-yard-line, three points for a field goal, four points for a conversion from the 10-yard-line.
The defense can score six points for a touchdown, six points for a turnover, three points for a three-and-out or turnover on downs and one point for a forced punt.
Clear Bag Policy
The clear bag policy will be in effect.
Each fan will be permitted to carry one large clear bag – either a one-gallon Ziploc-style bag or a 12″ x 6″ x 12″ clear bag – plus a small clutch that does not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″. A clear bag shall be clear from top-to-bottom and up to a 2” trim/border on the bag is generally acceptable. The small clutch allows privacy for small personal items and is also easily searched. Non-compliant bags — empty or not — may not be carried inside compliant clear bags. Backpacks and drawstring/cinch bags, even those that are clear, are not permitted.
2026 Football Season Tickets

The UK Ticket Sales Team will be on hand inside gates 9 and 12 and at the ticket office to answer any season ticket questions.
