Kentucky STUNT Set for Conference Tournament

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky STUNT team will play in the Mid America West Conference Tournament beginning on Saturday in Martin, Tennessee.

Kentucky (26-2) plays at 11 a.m. on Saturday against Mercyhurst, a team the Cats beat 39-17 earlier this season. UK is the top seed and the defending champion of the tournament.

The double-elimination tournament continues through Sunday. Kentucky and Mercyhurst join Central Arkansas, Missouri State, Northern Kentucky and the event host, UT Martin, in the tournament.

STUNT is a head-to-head competition between two teams that focuses on the technical and athletic aspects of cheer. It is one of the fastest-growing female sports in the United States and will have NCAA championship status in 2027.
