Kentucky STUNT Wins Twice in Coast to Coast Showdown

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky STUNT team won two more games on Friday on the second day of the Coast to Coast Showdown at Historic Memorial Coliseum.

Kentucky (24-2) beat Central Arkansas 25-5, then topped UT Martin 34-10, extending their winning streak to 15 games in the process.

In game one, UK faced former Wildcat Chloe Moxley and her Central Arkansas squad. The Cats took command of the game in the first quarter, partner stunts, by earning four points compared to one for the Bears. In quarter two, pyramids and tosses, Kentucky again earned four points, while the Bears took one. UK went to the half with an 8-2 lead.

Kentucky continued to extend the lead in the third quarter, jumps and tumbling, by winning four points compared to just one for UCA. And in the fourth quarter, team routine, the Cats got 13 points while the Bears earned two.

Against UT Martin, Kentucky again grabbed an early lead, earning five points in the first quarter while the Skyhawks got just one. In quarter two, UK notched five points while UTM had just one, giving the Cats a 10-2 lead at halftime.

The Cats extended their lead in the third quarter, winning six points compared to two for the Skyhawks. Then, in the final stanza, Kentucky put the game away by winning 18 points while holding UT Martin to six.

Kentucky returns to action in the Coast to Coast Showdown at Historic Memorial Coliseum on Saturday. UK will face South Carolina at 1:30 p.m. Then, following Senior Day activities, the Cats will face Jessup at 4:30 p.m.
