Kentucky STUNT Tops Davenport in Coast to Coast Showdown
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky STUNT team extended its winning streak to 13 games by topping highly-ranked Davenport 31-22 on Thursday night in the first game of the 2026 Coast to Coast Showdown inside Historic Memorial Coliseum.
Kentucky (22-2) earned the first point of the first quarter, partner stunts. Davenport tied the game, but the Cats would win six points in the period, compared to just four for the Panthers.
In quarter two, pyramids and tosses, both teams had winning routines, but the period ended with UK earning five points, compared to four for Davenport. Kentucky took an 11-8 lead in the half.
Kentucky extended its lead in the third quarter, jumps and tumbling. The Cats earned five points while the Panthers got three. UK took a 16-11 lead into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth period, team routine, Kentucky put the game away, earning 15 points in the final stanza compared to 11 for Davenport.
Kentucky returns to action in the Coast to Coast Showdown at Historic Memorial Coliseum on Friday. UK will face Central Arkansas at 1:15 p.m. Then, at 5:45 the Cats will face Mid America West Conference rival UT Martin.
