No. 22 Kentucky Closes Regular Season with 197.225 on Senior Night
LEXINGTON, Ky. – No. 22 Kentucky (1-10-1, 1-6-1 SEC) closed out the 2026 regular season with its fourth score of 197+ this year, falling to No. 3 Florida, 198.575-197.225. The mark for the Cats is their second-best team score this season and top mark inside Historic Memorial Coliseum.
Florida’s mark of 198.575 is the highest score in the NCAA this year, besting their own mark of 198.450 set last week. For the second straight season, the Cats and Gators squared off to close out the regular season, with Florida posting the nation’s top score on both occasions.
Anna Flynn Cashion, Delaynee Rodriguez, and Creslyn Brose each took home event titles with scores of 9.950 on vault, beam, and floor, respectively.
Cashion won her third vault title of the season and fourth of her career with a stuck front handspring pike half, matching her career-high of 9.950 for the third time in her career.
Rodriguez claimed her 17th event win of the year and third on the balance beam with a new career-high of 9.950, with one judge giving her a perfect 10.0.
Brose anchored the night with her 11th career win on the floor exercise and her fourth score of 9.950 this season. The All-American has now scored at least a 9.900 in 31 of 34 career floor routines, including all eight this season.
On the night, the Cats posted season-high scores of 49.350 on vault and 49.500 on the floor exercise in combination with a 49.100 on the uneven bars and 49.275 on the balance beam.
Kentucky started the night with its best vault rotation of the season. Addisyn Hofseth matched her career-high of 9.825 to begin the meet, followed by Cecily Rizo with a 9.850. Callie Gardner earned a season-high 9.850 and Ryan Noonan followed with a 9.875. Rodriguez scored a 9.800 that was dropped, while Cashion brought the rotation home with authority via her stick and 9.950.
Kentucky scored a 49.100 on bars for the second consecutive week, led off by a 9.825 from Rizo. Returning to the lineup on her senior night, Isabella Rivelli nearly matched her season high and posted a 9.825 in the No. 2 spot. Gabby Van Frayen and Chesney Bennett each scored 9.775s. Noonan added the highest score of the rotation with a 9.850 and Rodriguez rounded out the lineup with a 9.825.
On the balance beam, Rizo led off with a 9.775, followed by Brose delivering a stellar 9.900 performance. Sharon Lee took a fall on her flight series and scored a 9.200 but was backed up by Bennett’s 9.875. Van Frayen also scored a 9.775 to set up Rodriguez’s near-perfect performance in the anchor position. After early-season struggles on beam, Kentucky has now scored at least a 49.200 on the event in the final six meets of the regular season.
Kentucky capped off the meet with a stellar floor rotation, earning its first score of 49.500 on any event this season. Van Frayen and Rizo led off with identical scores of 9.850, with the former matching her career high. Bennett, Gardner, and Rodriguez all added 9.900s, with Bennett setting a new career high and Gardner matching hers. Brose capped off the night with her signature style to send the Cats off with a new home high score.
In the all-around, Rodriguez led the Cats with a 39.475, her ninth score of at least 39.400 in ten meets this season. Rizo also competed all four events, adding a 39.300 to continue her strong run of form since returning to the all-around.
Kentucky will begin the postseason next weekend at the 2026 Southeastern Conference Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kentucky will compete in Session I at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 21. Action from the BOK Center will be televised on SEC Network.
