No. 23 Kentucky Hosts No. 6 Georgia for Pajama Night

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Fresh off its second 197+ score of the 2026 season, No. 23 Kentucky (1-7-1, 1-3-1 SEC) returns to Lexington to host No. 6 Georgia (9-3, 2-3 SEC) in a 6 p.m. contest on Friday, February 27. The meet from Historic Memorial Coliseum will be televised on SEC Network with Alex Perlman and Anastasia Webb on the call.

Friday will serve as Pajama Night, presented by UK Healthcare, at Historic Memorial Coliseum, with fans encouraged to cheer on the Cats in their best Kentucky pajamas. In addition to a limited Kentucky Gymnastics pajama pants giveaway, poms, posters, and 10.0 cards presented by UK Healthcare will be available for fans at the door. Fans are also encouraged to bring new stuffed animals to donate to Golisano Children’s at UK. Tickets for the meet are still available at ukathletics.com/gymtix and on Ticketmaster.

The Wildcats return to HMC for their penultimate home meet of the regular season after posting their three best scores of the season in the last three weeks. After scoring a season-high 197.325 in a road upset of No. 12 Auburn, the Cats have followed that up with scores of 196.800 against No. 7 Missouri and 197.125 at No. 7 Arkansas—the latter coming in Kentucky’s first tie in a dual meet since 2013.

Delaynee Rodriguez continues to be the hallmark of consistency for the Cats, winning her sixth all-around title in seven meets this season with a victory at Arkansas last week. The Las Vegas native currently ranks No. 6 in the NCAA with an all-around NQS of 39.490 and has not scored below 39.400 in the all-around this season. Overall, Rodriguez has claimed 13 event wins, set or matched career highs on all four events and the all-around, and has scored above 9.800 in 26 of 28 routines this season (with the two outliers being scores of 9.775).

Creslyn Brose has maintained her high level of success on the floor exercise, winning three event titles in five meets and scoring at least 9.900 in every floor routine this season. Overall, the two-time All-American has scored at least 9.900 in 28 of her 31 career floor routines and has claimed nine career wins on the event. In 2026, Brose holds the third-highest scoring average in the country on the event at 9.935.

In recent weeks, the Cats have seen multiple athletes step up and score 9.900 on at least one event including, Chesney Bennett on beam, Anna Flynn Cashion on vault, Callie Gardner on floor, Sharon Lee on beam, Sabrina Nemcek on bars, Ryan Noonan on vault and bars, Cecily Rizo on vault and Gabby Van Frayen on beam.

Kentucky currently ranks in the top 15 on both vault and floor, sitting at No. 13 on vault with a 49.170 NQS and No. 15 on floor with an NQS of 49.245. The Cats recently broke into the top 20 on bars with an NQS of 49.065, good enough for No. 19. After counting misses in the first four meets of the season on beam, Kentucky has fought its way back into the top 25 on the event in the last three weeks with two scores of 49.200 and a season-high score of 49.350 at Arkansas last week.

Kentucky will compete in its final road meet of the 2026 regular season next weekend, traveling to Tuscaloosa for a dual against No. 3 Alabama. The meet from Coleman Coliseum will start at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday, March 6 and will be streamed live on SEC Network +.
