16 Student-Athletes to be Inducted into Frank G. Ham Society of Character

LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Kentucky Athletics will induct 16 student-athletes into the Frank G. Ham Society of Character Wednesday at a dinner prior to the Kentucky’s men’s basketball game against Oklahoma.

The student-athletes will be recognized on the court at Rupp Arena at halftime of the basketball game.

The Society of Character annually honors Wildcats who have shown a commitment to academic excellence, athletic participation, personal development, career development and service. The SOC was founded during the 1998-99 school year and is named for Ham, a longtime UK administrator.

The following is an alphabetized list of this year’s induction class and highlights of their accomplishments.

 

Lauryn Borzilleri, softball

  • 2024 Wings Etc., All-Tournament Team
  • 10 HR and 47 RBI in three seasons
  • Hit a career high .257 in 2025 with a career-high 13 extra-base hits
  • 2023 SEC First-Year Honor Roll, 2024 and 2025 SEC Honor Roll

John Broome, men’s swimming

  • 3x SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • 3x CSCAA National Invite Qualifier
  • Holds the ninth fastest 200 breaststroke time in program history
  • CSC Academic All-District in 2024

Cathryn Brown, women’s golf

  • 2025-26 The Johnie Imes Invitational Winner
  • 2025 Kentucky Women’s Amateur Champion
  • 2024-25 SEC Community Service Team
  • 2x WGCA All-American Scholar (2023-24, 2024-25)
  • 2024-25 SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • 2023-24 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll

Sofia Ceccarello, rifle

  • Helped UK break NCAA record team score in 2026
  • Unanimous three-time first-team All-American
  • Seven-time first-team All-GARC honoree
  • Tied NCAA record air rifle score in 2025 with 600-59x

Ben Cleaver, baseball

  • Won eight games with a 3.32 ERA in two seasons
  • In 2025, had the most strikeouts in a season since Zack Thompson
  • 2025 ABCA Second Team All-Region performer
  • Two-time SEC Honor Roll honoree

Dana Dahm, women’s soccer

  • 2025 SEC Community Service Team
  • Four-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member
  • Scored two goals and added one assist in collegiate career

Brooklyn DeLeye, volleyball

  • 2024 SEC Player of the Year
  • 2023 SEC Freshman of the Year
  • 2023, 2024 and 2025 First Team All-SEC
  • 2025 AVCA First Team All-America

Hayden Dawahare, football

  • Named to the 2025 SEC Community Service Team
  • Two-year member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • Saw action in 10 games and had two tackles in 2025
  • Named to the 2025 Burlsworth Trophy watch list

Brandon Evans, rifle

  • Helped UK break NCAA record team score in 2026
  • Set all new career highs in all three categories in 2025
  • Career-best aggregate at NCAA Qualifiers in 2025
  • Plans to join the police academy after graduation

Grace Frericks, women’s swimming

  • 3x NCAA Qualifier
  • 2024 Paris Olympic Trials Qualifier
  • CSCAA Spring Scholar All-American First Team
  • 3x SEC Academic Honor Roll

Zoe Hammond, women’s tennis

  • 2025 SEC Women’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year
  • 2025 All-SEC Second Team
  • CSC Academic All-American Third Team
  • 2025 ITA Most Improved Player in the Ohio Valley Region

Walker Horn, men’s basketball

  • Appeared in 20 career games, including seven in 2025-26
  • First career points with 3-pointer vs. Tennessee Tech this season
  • Only four-year member of the UK squad in 2025-26
  • Community service includes Ronald McDonald House, UK Children’s Hospital and Lexington Rescue Mission

Anthony Hotko, rifle

  • Helped UK break NCAA record team score in 2026
  • Set new career highs in smallbore and aggregate in 2025
  • Competed in four matches this season
  • Information Communication Technology major

Ryan Merani, men’s swimming

  • 3x NCAA Qualifier
  • 2024 Paris Olympic Trials Qualifier
  • 3x SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • 3x Program Record Holder

Tommy Skelding, baseball

  • In 2025, returned from injury to appear in 16 games
  • Earned first collegiate win at Texas A&M
  • A two-time SEC Honor Roll honoree
  • Has worked with various community organizations

Martin Voss, rifle 

  • Helped UK break NCAA record team score in 2026
  • All-America honorable mention in 2025
  • All-GARC Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2025
  • Helped UK to second-place finish at NCAAs in 2025
