• Totaled 17 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks and two quarterback hurries

2024 – r-Freshman (South Alabama)
• Played in all 13 games
• Recorded 20 total tackles with six solo tackles
• Also registered 3.5 tackles for loss with 2.5 sacks and two forced fumbles

2023 – Freshman (UAB)
• Redshirt season
• Appeared in four games and made one tackle

High School
• Prepped at Cottage Hill Christian Academy in Mobile
• Named a Second Team All-State performer and earned All-Region Honorable Mention honors
• Was rated a two-star prospect by 247 Sports coming out of high school

Personal
• Born in Charleston, South Carolina
• Son of Stacey and Adam Thomas
• His father, Adam, played college basketball at Enterprise State Junior College and the University of Mobile before going on to play professionally in Finland
• Has two brothers, Trent and Trevor
• Identical twin brother, Trent, is a tight end at Tennessee … Tyler is older by one minute
• Majors are economics and pre-management
