Sebastian Conlon Invited to 2025 MLS College Showcase
NEW YORK, N.Y. – Kentucky Wildcats’ goalkeeper Sebastian Conlon has been selected as one of 45 of the top collegiate players, and one of four goalkeepers, to participate in the 2025 MLS College Showcase on Dec. 10-13 in Mesa, Ariz.
The showcase is a four-day talent evaluation event which will give technical staffs from all 30 MLS clubs an opportunity to scout the top collegiate prospects in the nation ahead of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft.
In his lone season with the Wildcats, Conlon started all 19 matches between the posts, recording 56 saves and allowing just 18 goals, resulting in the Sun Belt’s second-best goals against average at 0.93. Conlon also kept eight clean sheets on the season, which was tied for the most in the Sun Belt Conference.
The fourth-year goalkeeper from Reston, Va. also racked up a plethora of individual awards throughout the 2025 season, including 2025 Sun Belt Goalkeeper of the Year, 2025 All-Sun Belt First Team and 2025 Sun Belt All-Tournament Team. Conlon was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region and the TopDrawerSoccer Midseason Watchlist teams.
Prior to his stint in Lexington, Conlon spent three seasons with fellow SBC program James Madison, where he recorded the ninth-most clean sheets in program history with 16 and earned his first career SBC Goalkeeper of the Year award following his junior season in 2024.
“Each year we see young breakout players who previously shined at the MLS College Showcase go on to make a meaningful impact at the first-team level,” said Alecko Eskandarian, Vice President, Player Relations & Player Development. “This event is a crucial opportunity for our clubs to evaluate the nation’s top collegiate talent, and we are thrilled to welcome these 45 standout individuals to a life-changing showcase in Arizona this year.”
Following the pre-draft showcase, Conlon will wait to hear his named called during the 2026 MLS SuperDraft, scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. ET.
