Kentucky Signs Top 10 Transfer, Top 25 High School Classes
Coming off a school-record third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance the Kentucky baseball program returned to the field last week with a transfer class ranked No. 8 in the nation and a 2025 high school class ranked No. 21, augmenting a strong core of returning players for the 2026 season.
Industry analytical leader 64analytics.com assessed the Wildcats’ 13-man portal class as the eighth best in the country, while top prep recruiting organization Perfect Game listed the Cats 21st in its final 2025 class rankings. D1Baseball.com selected three UK players amongst its Top 100 freshmen to reach campus after the Major League Baseball Draft.
Additionally, redshirts Chase Alderman (RHP), Oliver Boone (RHP), Jaxon Jelkin (RHP) and Cameron Owens (RHP) are expected to make their Kentucky debut this spring.
Kentucky will travel to Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio on Sunday, October 5 for the first of two fall exhibition games. Morehead State comes to Lexington on Sunday, October 26.
