LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Kentucky swimming and diving team continued to shine at the Louisville Invitational First Chance Meet, with several standout performances in both swimming and diving events on Thursday and Friday.

In the men’s swimming events, Jack Haywood led the way, winning the 200 Free with a time of 1:37.82. Eli Greinke earned a third-place finish in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 1:58.55, setting a new personal record, while Murilo Amatuzzi placed fourth at 1:58.64. Amatuzzi also set a new personal record in the prelims. Brad Boyd set a personal record, finishing third with a time of 20.59, followed closely by Alec Lampen in fourth (20.65).

Paige Housman was the highlight of the women’s events, securing first place in the 400 IM with a time of 4:14.28, achieving the NCAA B-Standard. In the women’s 50 Free, Avery Frece earned a third-place finish with a time of 23.35.

On the diving side, Sam Duncan placed second in the Men’s 3m Diving with a score of 343.13, while Gavin Hang followed in third (299.48). Landon Isler finished fourth in the Men’s Platform Diving with a score of 281.70.

In the Women’s Platform Diving, Devynn Bishop earned second place (244.13), Abby Devereaux was third (240.68), and Claire McDaniels placed fifth (226.80). The women’s divers had a strong showing, with Avery Giese taking first in the 3m Diving with a score of 274.58, and Kristy Pfaff finishing second (263.70).

Kentucky’s swimmers and divers displayed impressive depth and skill, continuing to build momentum heading into the SEC Championship on Feb. 17-22.
