Logan Dorsey Named to CSC Academic All-America® NCAA Division I Third Team
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky men’s soccer senior Logan Dorsey has been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® NCAA Division I Third Team, CSC announced Tuesday afternoon.
The 2024 Academic All-America® Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
A senior forward from Evergreen, Co., Dorsey recorded Kentucky’s two goals scored over its two Sun Belt Conference Tournament matches in postseason competition. A successful penalty kick earned Dorsey his fifth game-winning score to advance the Wildcats to the semifinal contest where he scored his 14th and final goal of the season. Dorsey led the 2024 squad in goals-scored while also recording three assists, 50 shots and 29 shots on goal. Majoring in psychology, Dorsey has continued to strive for excellence both on the field and in the classroom holding a grade-point average of 3.6. He will graduate this month with his undergraduate degree.
