Three Kentucky Men’s Golf Alumni in Field for ISCO Championship
NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. – The PGA Tour returns to the greater Lexington area, July 11-14, with three Kentucky men’s golf alumni in the field for the ISCO Championship at Keene Trace Golf Club’s Champions Course.
Alex Goff ’24, Cooper Musselman ’18 and Stephan Stallings Jr. ’17 will all tee it up on a familiar track with 300 FedEx Cup points and a $4 million purse on the line.
The start will mark the PGA Tour debut for Alex Goff, who just recently put the finishing touches on one of the best seasons in Kentucky men’s golf program history. Goff was named the 11th All-American in program history after posting a 70.55 scoring average, the program’s best single season mark since at least 1993-94. At UK, Musselman had a 72.91 scoring average, and was the individual champion at the Crooked Stick Intercollegiate his senior year.
The PGA Tour veteran of the group, Stallings Jr. has played in 12 events on tour including four ISCO Championships. His best finish at the tournament came back in 2019 when he was T45 at 11-under. Stallings Jr., who is also a Louisville native and was high school teammates with Musselman, owned a collegiate scoring average of 74.27 while playing in 35 events with the Wildcats.
