- title On-Campus Recruiting Assistant
Jocelyn Grimsley returned to the Kentucky Football program in the summer of 2024 as the on-campus recruiting assistant, continuing a long-standing connection with the Wildcats. She was promoted to the assistant director of on-campus recruiting in 2026.
Prior to her current role, Grimsley spent the 2023–24 academic year as an academic services assistant in the Center for Academic and Tutorial Services (C.A.T.S.), working with men’s and women’s track and field and women’s tennis. She also gained extensive experience within the football program as a student worker from 2019–23, assisting coaching video coordinator Christian Fiero.
Grimsley further broadened her experience in athletics through internships as a festival support intern with the Orange Bowl Committee in 2023 and as a game night intern with the Louisville Bats during the same year.
In addition to her work in athletics, Grimsley serves as a Second Lieutenant in the Kentucky Army National Guard, joining in September of 2020. She was recognized with the Armed Forces Bank Award in 2022 for demonstrating exceptional respect for diverse cultures and effectively applying cross-cultural competencies in complex environments.
A dedicated leader during her time as a student at Kentucky, Grimsley held several prominent roles, including president of the Black Student Union, vice president of Underground Perspective, KHP ambassador for the College of Education and a K–5 mentor with Common Good Lexington. She was also named a recipient of the inaugural 2024 Sarah Bennett Holmes 30 Under 30 Award, which honors UK faculty, staff and graduate students who exemplify professional success while promoting the growth and well-being of women.
A proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Grimsley graduated from the University of Kentucky in May 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in health promotion, along with double minors in coaching and community and leadership development. She was named to the Dean’s List in the spring of 2020.
