Kentucky STUNT Cruises Past UT Martin
MARTIN, Tenn. – The Kentucky STUNT team completed a successful day by beating UT Martin 23-7 on Saturday.
It was Kentucky’s second win of the day, after the Cats topped Maryville 19-9 earlier on Saturday.
Kentucky (7-4) started off the first quarter, partner stunts, by winning points on all four routines in the period, while UT Martin was able to tally one, but UK led 4-1 after one period.
In the second quarter, pyramids and tosses. Kentucky again claimed the maximum of four points, while UT Martin was able to notch two. The Cats led 8-3 at halftime.
The third quarter, jumps and tumbling, Kentucky was able to extend its lead by scoring all four points to none for UT Martin. The Cats led 11-3 through three periods.
Kentucky continued to put up big numbers in the fourth quarter, team routine. The Cats won 11 out of a possible 12 points in the period. UTM was able to get four points on the board but it was not enough.
UK returns to action on Sunday, facing Southern Arkansas at 2:30 p.m. ET and Maryville at 3:45 p.m. ET. Those games will be streamed live on YouTube.
