Kentucky Cross Country Reveals 2023 Schedule
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky cross country has announced its 2023 schedule, including four regular season meets and three postseason meets.
The Wildcats will start the season in-state as they head down the road to Richmond for the EKU Triangular on September 1st. The rest of the season’s meets are in locations throughout the South and Midwest regions including two trips to Alabama and South Carolina.

The season’s first meet will be a short trip down the road in Richmond, Kentucky where the Colonels will host the EKU Triangular to start the month before UKXC returns to Alabama for the Southern Showcase two weeks later.
UKXC will close out September with a trip to Chicago for the Loyola Lakefront Invitational which takes place on the Sydney Marovitz Golf Course on the shores of Lake Michigan.
The Wildcats will finish the regular season with their final trip to Alabama for the Crimson Classic hosted by the Crimson Tide on October 13th.
The 2023 Southeastern Conference Championship meet will occur at the Charwood Golf Course in West Columbia, South Carolina. In 2022, the Kentucky women finished fourth with a historic 122 points while the men finished sixth with 190 points.
The NCAA Southeast Regionals will be held in South Carolina this year at the Milliken Arboretum Park in Spartanburg. The top two teams in each NCAA regional will receive an automatic bid to NCAA Championships.
The Wildcats return nine runners on both the men’s and women’s sides, including freshman All-SEC member Miles Brush. UKXC added 10 new additions this year including eight freshmen.
