Team Records and Series Notes
- The University of Kentucky women’s basketball program is in its 49th season with an 892-583 (.605) all-time record.
- The Wildcats are now 10-14 overall and 2-10 in the league.
- The Rebels are now 20-5 overall and 9-3 in the league.
- Kyra Elzy is in her third season as the head coach of the Wildcats, holding a 47-35 overall record.
- She has a 19-24 overall record in the SEC.
- Kentucky will return home to play host to Georgia on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. ET in Memorial Coliseum on SEC Network+.
- Freshman guard Amiya Jenkins will be recognized by the KHSAA pregame with her 2022 Miss Kentucky Basketball award.
Team Notes
- Kentucky used the starting combination Jada Walker, Maddie Scherr, Robyn Benton, Blair Green and Nyah Leveretter for the 18th game this season. UK is 7-11 using that starting combination.
- Ole Miss won the opening tip.
- Robyn Benton was the first Kentucky player to score.
- Adebola Adeyeye was the first substitute off the bench for Kentucky for the 15th time this season.
- Robyn Benton would score first in the game on a jumper off the backboard at 8:37, but Ole Miss followed with a 9-0 scoring run over the next three minutes, which prompted Kentucky to call a timeout at 6:30.

- Both teams would go scoreless for the next two minutes out of that timeout, until Jada Walker capped it by drawing a foul and knocking down a pair of free throws at 4:26.
- Those free throws were part of a Kentucky 8-4 run to conclude the first quarter.
- UK kept UM scoreless from the field in the final four minutes and 17 seconds of the first quarter, limiting them to just a pair of free throws.
- Ole Miss led Kentucky, 13-10, at the end of the first quarter.
- Scoring was back-and-forth to begin the second quarter, until Ole Miss went on a 7-0 run with a couple of jumpers and a 3-pointer. The run lasted from the sixth minute down to the fourth minute, as the Rebels took a 27-16, lead over the Wildcats after that stretch.

- Ole Miss led Kentucky in scoring, 8-6, in the remaining few minutes of the second quarter, as the Rebels knocked down a pair of 3-pointers in that time.
- Ole Miss led Kentucky, 35-22, at halftime.
- Despite the Rebels going on a 5-0 run out of halftime, the Wildcats responded with a 9-2 run to help close their gap to just 11 points with five minutes and 23 seconds remaining in the third quarter.
- The game of runs continued as the third quarter progressed, with Ole Miss going with a 6-0 run, and then Kentucky answering with a 5-0 run, all which were thanks to free throws.
- That included a make by Benton who knocked down 1-of-2 attempts at the line for an intentional foul called on Ole Miss after an elbow to Kennedy Cambridge.
- The game of runs continued as the third quarter progressed, with Ole Miss going with a 6-0 run, and then Kentucky answering with a 5-0 run, all which were thanks to free throws.

- Ole Miss led Kentucky in scoring, 6-4, in the final two minutes of the third quarter, taking a 54-40 lead at the end of the period.
- The Rebels began the fourth quarter on a 13-1 run.
- Kentucky scored 10 points to Ole Miss’ seven points down the stretch, including a 5-0 stretch by Amiya Jenkins on a layup and a 3-pointer.
- Kentucky lost to Ole Miss, 74-52.

- Graduate guard Robyn Benton led Kentucky with 14 points.
- Half of her points were on 7-of-8 from the line.
- She has scored in double digits in all 23 games she has played in this season.
- She added a rebound.
- Freshman guard Kennedy Cambridge had a career-high tying nine points on 4-of-5 from the field.
- Shee added three steals, two rebounds, one assist and a block.
- Junior forward Ajae Petty had seven points and six rebounds.
