Former Wildcat Amani Franklin enters her second season as a support
staff associate for the Wildcats. Her duties include assisting with team
travel, sending mail-outs and flyers to recruits and daily operations
in the basketball office.

Franklin is quite familiar with the
UK Hoops program as she graduated from Kentucky in 2010 with a degree
in agriculture economics and a minor in business, while playing in 127
games with 77 careers starts. The Stone Mountain, Ga., native helped
lead UK to a postseason tournament all four years of her career,
averaging 7.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Following graduation,
Franklin played three seasons in the professional ranks with overseas
clubs in Finland and Germany.
