2018 (Junior): Team captain … One of the toughest and technically-gifted players on the team … Committed to Kentucky late in the recruiting process … Played in and started in all 20 games of the 2017 season, scoring the game-winning goal vs. LSU … Active career minutes leader for Kentucky (3,748) … Missed the Arkansas Little Rock match with a quad injury but returned in the second half vs. Morehead State … Returned to the starting lineup vs. Wisconsin and played the full 90 minutes … Great on the ball in tight spaces … Suffered a broken ankle vs. Lipscomb in the early stages of the second half, and is out for the season. 

2017 (Sophomore): Was the last one standing as UK’s fitness test on the first day of preseason … Is extremely technical and coming off her freshman season where she started all but one match (season opener) … Will play an extremely holding and defensive midfield slot, but can get forward when space allows … Scored two goals last season in addition to a pair of assists … Scored her first goal of the 2017 season vs. LSU, turned out to be the GWG … Has ran the most miles per the Catapolt Data Tracking system of any player on the team … A workhorse in midfield.

2016 (Freshman): Pulls the offensive strings for UK in the center holding midfield spot … Recruited by assistant coach, Jason Goodson out of Oakland, Calif … Did not start opener vs. Long Beach State but has developed into one of Kentucky’s best players … Scored vs. USF … Works well in tight spaces and connects well with other players … Can beat players close to her … Working on long-range connecting passes … Scored vs. Murray State … Had an assist on the game-winning goal vs. Arkansas. 

Pre College: Gina Crosetti joins the Wildcats from De Anza Force ECNL soccer club in Oakland Calif., after a wildly successful stint with the Force. With the Force, she was part of a 2014 American Championship team, as well as the 2015 National Championship qualifying round. Crosetti was First Team All-League her sophomore and junior years with her high school, Miramonte HS. She was additionally named a captain in her senior season and was All Northern California Honorable Mention. Her sister, Marissa Crosetti played soccer for Santa Clara University at the collegiate level. She plans on majoring in marketing.
