Jordan Obi, a Hartford, Connecticut, native, spent the last four seasons at Penn from 2021-24 … In 83 games there, she averaged 13.7 points per game, 7.6 rebounds per game, 1.9 assists per game, 1.0 blocks per game and 0.9 steals per game … In just three seasons of action at Penn – Ivy League winter sports were canceled her freshman season because of the coronavirus outbreak – she combined for 1,142 points, 88 3-pointers, 631 rebounds, 165 assists, 85 blocks and 72 steals … She was the 25th player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points and became the seventh fastest to do so in just 74 games … Obi is coming off her most productive season yet, so much so the Ivy League named her to its first team for the first time in her college career … As a senior in 2023-24, she averaged 14.7 points per game and a team-high 7.7 rebounds per game, adding 65 assists and a team-high 38 blocks … She shot 43.3 percent from the field (149-344), 38.6 percent from the arc (34-88) and 82.7 percent from the line (81-98) that season … She scored in double digits in 22 of her 28 games last season, with six of those being double-double games that season … In a victory at Merrimack on Dec. 8, she played 40 minutes and recorded a career-high 30 points on 11-of-16 from the field that season … She added 13 rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block in that game … Obi also was a two-time All-Ivy Second Team selection as a sophomore and junior, averaging 13.3 points and 7.5 rebounds in those two seasons.
