2001-02 – Competed at the SEC Championships, swimming the 50y freestyle, 100y freestyle and 100y backstroke, setting career bests in the two freestyles … Competed at the Nike Cup, placing 22nd in the 50y freestyle while also swimming the 100y- and 200y freestyles and 100y backstroke, establishing a career best in the backstroke … Saw first action of the year in the Louisville dual meet … Also swam in the South Carolina/Arkansas and Indiana/Cincinnati dual meets … Member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll.2000-01 – Set career bests in both the 50y and 100y freestyles and competed in the 100y backstroke at SEC Championships … Placed fifth in the 50y freestyle and sixth in the 100y freestyle at Cincinnati … Member of second-place 200y freestyle relay team at Texas A&M Invitational, where she also established a career-high in the 100y backstroke … Began season with a second-place finish in the 50y freestyle and fourth-place in the 100y freestyle against Louisville while also swimming a leg for the second-place 400y medley relay team.

1999-00 – Finished 23rd in the 100y backstroke, 33rd in the 50y freestyle and 37th in the 100y freestyle at the SEC Championships … Competed in the Nike Cup, swimming the 50y-, 100y- and 200y freestyles, as well as the 100y backstroke.

Pre-College – Four-year letterwinner and captain of the Destrehan High School swim team… Finalist at the Louisiana state high school championship in the 50 and 100 freestyles… Also played basketball and ran track at Destrehan… Chose the Wildcats over Florida State, North Carolina State, and South Carolina… Her father, Dan Neal, played football at Kentucky and for the Chicago Bears and is an assistant coach under Mike Ditka for the New Orleans Saints.

Best Times – 50 freestyle – 24.37; 100 freestyle – 53.87; 100 backstroke – 59.78.
