1998-99 – Steady contributor during the dual meet season… Placed 14th in the 1,650 freestyle, 26th in the 500 freestyle, and 32nd in the 200 freestyle at the SEC Championships… Placed 16th in the 500 freestyle and the 1,650 freestyle at the Nike Cup… Part of a one-two-three sweep in the 1000 freestyle against Texas A&M.

Pre-College – Speedo Academic All-American… Honorable mention All-America in 500 free… Junior National runner-up in 200, 400 and 1,500 free… Swam for the CFCC Marlins under Bill Vargo.
