2008-09: Had personal best times in all of his events … Placed in the top-25 in two events at his first career SEC Championships … Was 23rd in the 200-backstroke and 25th in the 100-back … Both times are among the top-10 best times in school history … Also placed 36th in the 200-individual medley … Was among the top three on four occasions during dual meet competition … Swam in three events at the UT Invitational earning two top-10 finishes … Placed ninth in the 200-back and 10th in the 100-back.

Pre-College: A four-year letterwinner at Carmel … A seven-time high school All-American … A junior national qualifier in the 200-backstroke.
