Coach Collins on Adam – “Adam performed very well in the spring at left back. He understands the game well and has a very good left foot that can drive a ball. He has worked hard at his fitness and should push for playing time on the left side of the field.”

2002 – Saw action in only one game for the Wildcats, entering the MAC Quarterfinals against Buffalo not as a goalkeeper, but as a forward… Scored first collegiate goal in the game’s 90th minute.

2001 – Sat out season as a redshirt.

Pre-College – At Bishop England High School, was named South Carolina Goalkeeper of the year in 1999 and Player of the Year in 2000… Captained four straight state high school championship teams, the first in school history to accomplish the feat… Was a member of the South Carolina Elite 20 team… Named All-Region and All-Low Country three times… Club team won five state championships in the six years he played and reached semifinals of Region III twice… Also a member of the Olympic Development Program Regional Pool in 1999 and 2000.

Personal – Born Sept. 29, 1981, in Charleston, S.C…. Parents are Jackie and Matt Walker… Was a national merit semifinalist… Major is undecided.
