2003: Used a red-shirt season for indoor and outdoor track.

Fall 2002: Cross Country– Competed in five meets for the Wildcats, finishing 50th at the SEC Championships… Season best time in the 8k was a 26:41.88 mark at the Auburn Invitational… Highest finish of the season was 22nd at the Woodford Country Trials.

High School: Finished third at the Kentucky High School Cross Country Championships in 2001… Also won the regional championships in cross country in 2001… Was the county 1,600 meters champion in 2001.

Personal: Born February 2, 1984… Son of Mary Ann and Shelby Thompson… Major is biology.
