Although he did pitch on occasion, Applegate was mostly a position player with Duluth of the Northwoods League, scoring 19 runs and drawing 20 walks with a .345 OBP in 90 at bats as he worked to get his timing back after a redshirt season…Had four multi-hit games, including a three-hit day on July 2.
