TICKET SECURITY

The UK Ticket Office has provided the following information to assist Kentucky fans in purchasing verified tickets and to protect their tickets once they do. For further questions regarding ticket security, please contact the UK Ticket Office at UKTickets@uky.edu or (800) 928-2287.
 

AUTHORIZED SELLERS

UK Athletics urges fans to use caution against unauthorized sellers to prevent the purchase of counterfeit tickets. There are only six ticket outlets authorized to sell tickets to UK Athletics events:

• UK Ticket Office
• Ticketmaster or TicketExchange
• Rupp Arena Box Office
• ReplyBuy
• FEVO
• Visiting Team Ticket Office

Only tickets purchased directly from these six sources are guaranteed to be valid. When purchasing or acquiring tickets through any other source the buyer is at risk of receiving fraudulent or invalid tickets. The UK Ticket Office is unable to provide support for tickets purchased through unauthorized sellers.
 

TICKET RESALE

Through TicketExchange, Kentucky has partnered with Ticketmaster to bring fans the only safe and secure, fan-to-fan resale marketplace authorized by UK Athletics. TicketExchange is completely integrated with Kentucky’s Ticketmaster software and uses barcode verification technology to ensure the authenticity of tickets. As the only official fan-to-fan marketplace of Big Blue Nation, TicketExchange provides fans with reliable and convenient access to purchase tickets for games and sections that otherwise may be sold out as well as post verified tickets for sale. No other websites can provide barcode verification technology to ensure the authenticity of tickets. The UK Ticket Office is unable to provide support for tickets purchased through unauthorized sellers.
 

STUDENT ID REQUIRED TICKETS

Tickets printed with “Student ID Required” are sold to full-time University of Kentucky students at an exclusive rate. Due to this, only UK Students with their valid UK student ID will be able to gain admission to Rupp Arena and Kroger Field with these tickets. The general public are unable to gain admission on student tickets. Fans purchasing tickets directly through one of UK’s six authorized ticket outlets can be assured that they are not accidentally buying student tickets that require an ID. Unauthorized sellers cannot provide this assurance.
 

PRINT-AT-HOME TICKETS

In the case of duplicate print-at-home tickets, the first barcode to reach the gate will scan as valid. Additional copied tickets with the same barcode will scan invalid, and the patron will not be permitted entrance to the venue. Fans should be aware of altered print-at-home tickets that are often sold through unauthorized sellers.
 

INVALID, DUPLICATE & COUNTERFEIT TICKETS

All UK Athletics tickets are barcoded and will be scanned for validity at the venue entrance. Invalid, altered, duplicate and counterfeit tickets will not grant entrance into the venue. If any of these tickets are discovered once inside of the facility, UK Athletics has the right to escort the ticket holder from the venue. Event staff personnel and ticket office staff may confiscate fraudulent tickets for law enforcement purposes.
 

SOCIAL MEDIA

Ticket holders should be aware of the potential risks of posting pictures of their tickets, specifically the barcode, on the internet in any way. The barcode is the most valuable piece of information on a ticket. Please treat it as you would your credit card information. Always #CoverTheCode when posting pictures of tickets online, and avoid taking screenshots that expose personal information like your name, address or credit card information.
