BIO

Robert Slowik is in his first year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Kentucky baseball program while pursuing his Master’s degree in athletic training. He works daily with Kentucky’s student-athletes in assessment, prevention and rehabilitation.

A native of East Stroudsburg, PA, Slowik joins the Kentucky baseball program after earning his Bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pa., where he worked as a student athletic trainer. He worked directly with Penn State’s football, men’s soccer, women’s lacrosse, field hockey, and men’s and women’s fencing programs.

Slowik also spent time with the National Football League’s Chicago Bears as an athletic training intern during the summer of 2017. He is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
