Men’s Soccer Travels to Nashville for Nonconference Matchup with Lipscomb

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Following their Sun Belt opener last week, the Kentucky Wildcats (0-4-2, 0-1-0 SBC) are set to face the Lipscomb Bisons (2-4-1, 2-1-0 ASUN) in Nashville, Tenn. in a non-conference matchup at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex on Tuesday night.

Kentucky will face Lipscomb for the 8th time in program history, boasting a 4-1-2 all-time record. Last time out, the Wildcats and the Bisons drew 2-2 in Nashville during the 2024 campaign. The Wildcats are seeking their first win of the 2026 season when they travel to Nashville on Tuesday. Kentucky currently sits at 0-4-2 following a 1-0 loss to Marshall in Lexington in their 2026 Sun Belt opener.

Tuesday night’s matchup with Lipscomb will feature as the Wildcats’ penultimate nonconference match of the season. The final non-Sun Belt opponent Kentucky will face this season is the second-ranked Indiana Hoosiers in Bloomington on Oct. 6. Later this week, the Wildcats will return to SBC play in a meeting with the UCF Knights in Orlando, Fla. on Sunday, Sept. 27.

Lipscomb enters match day eight of their schedule, coming off a 1-0 win over Jacksonville, improving their record in the ASUN Conference to 2-1. The Bisons are led by leading goalscorers Jorge Morejon and Tobias Sosa, both with two goals apiece on the season. They enter the week with an overall record of 2-4-1 and currently sit in third place on six points in the ASUN Conference standings.

Kickoff for Kentucky at Lipscomb is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, streaming on ESPN+.
