UK Cross Country Releases 2026 Fall Schedule

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky cross country program has announced its full meet schedule for the upcoming 2026 season, featuring six total events, including three postseason meets, starting with the season opener on Friday, Sept. 11 in Knoxville, Tenn. at the Tennessee Invitational.

Following the season opener, the Wildcats will travel to Columbia, Mo. for the annual Gans Creek Classic on Sept. 25, hosted by the University of Missouri, which will also play host to this year’s SEC Cross Country Championships in October.

The third meet of the season for Kentucky will be the Pre-National Invitational, hosted by Indiana State, on Oct. 16, which will serve as the regular season finale in the first of two trips to Terre Haute, Ind.

Postseason competition is set to begin on Oct. 30 with the 2026 SEC Championships, the second meet of the season in Columbia, Mo. at the Gans Creek Course.

The penultimate meet of the season for the Wildcats will feature a trip to Spartanburg, S.C. for the NCAA Southeast Regional at the Roger Milliken Center for a chance at national qualification.

The 2026 cross country season will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 21 with the second trip to Terre Haute, Ind. for the NCAA Championships at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
