  • UK is now 155-13 all-time in exhibition games.
  • Tonight’s game ended UK’s 34 game-win streak in exhibition games, dating back to a win vs. Pikeville on Nov. 2, 2014.
    • The last loss was Aug. 17, 2014, vs. the Dominican Republic in the final game of the 2014 Big Blue Bahamas exhibition tour.
  • This game does not count in the series record. Georgetown leads the series, 2-0. This was the first time the teams had met in Lexington.
  • The Wildcats open the regular season Tuesday at home vs. Nicholls. Game time is 7 p.m. and it will be televised on SEC Network+.

  • Dioubate, Chandler and Malachi Moreno paced the Wildcats in rebounding with seven each.
  • Three Wildcats – Denzel Aberdeen, Jaland Lowe and Jayden Quaintance – missed the game because of injury.

In the First Half

  • Kentucky started Otega Oweh, Collin Chandler, Trent Noah, Mo Dioubate and Brandon Garrison.
  • Kam Williams was UK’s first substitution at the 16:10 mark.
  • The teams battled evenly, with five ties and six lead changes providing a 19-16 Kentucky lead.
  • Georgetown took the lead with a seven-point spurt and never trailed again.
  • Georgetown went on to stretch the lead to as many as 10 points at 42-32 and 46-36.
  • The Hoyas shot 56.3 percent in the first half and went to intermission leading 46-39.
    • UK was led by Oweh’s nine points and Moreno with five rebounds. 

In the Second Half

  • Kentucky began the second half with the starters.
  • Georgetown took the lead to 17 points at 64-47 with 10:36 remaining.
  • Kentucky inched back within 10 points at 66-56 but got no closer.
