Kentucky Track and Field Releases 2025-26 Indoor Schedule
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Wildcats track and field program and head coach Lonnie Greene have announced the release of the 2025-26 indoor season schedule, kicking off on Dec. 6 in Nashville, Tenn. at the Commodore Winter Challenge.
Following the season opener in Nashville, the Wildcats will host the annual Rod McCravy Memorial Invitational on Jan. 9-10 at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Ky. Last season, the Cats won the event on the women’s side with 142 total points, including seven event wins and two school records.
The next meet on the schedule will be the Vanderbilt Invitational in a return trip to Nashville on Jan. 16-17 for a distance and throws only event, followed by the Dr. MLK Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. on Jan. 23-24.
On Jan. 30-31, UK will make the first of two trips to Fayetteville, Ark. in 2026 for the Razorback Invitational, an event where the Cats recorded eight top 10 all-time marks, two freshman records and a school record from Janet Jepkemboi Amimo.
The Wildcats’ schedule will then turn to a pair of meets on Feb. 13-14 with the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C. and a distance only event at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston, Ma.
For the second consecutive season, the Texas A&M Aggies will play host to the 2026 SEC Indoor Championships at the Fasken Indoor Track & Field Facility in College Station, Texas on Feb. 26-28.
The 2025-26 indoor season will conclude on Mar. 13-14 in the Cats’ second trip to Fayetteville, Ark. for the NCAA Championships.
