Cole Hage Named CSC Academic All-American

Kentucky outfielder Cole Hage has been named Second Team Academic All-America by the College Sports Communicators, it was announced. The Wildcats’ program has had an Academic All-American in five consecutive seasons.

Criteria included at least a 3.50 grade point average and significant playing time.

Hage, an outfielder from Fargo, North Dakota, has been a stalwart both on and off the field. He has been named Academic All-District four straight years, was Academic All-Ivy League at Columbia before transferring to UK and now will have an opportunity to be named an academic All-American. He also led the Wildcats in hitting, home runs, stolen bases and runs this season.

Hage is the seventh player to be named a CSC Academic All-American in Coach Nick Mingione’s nine seasons. He joins Marshall Gei (2019), T.J. Collett (2021), Daniel Harris IV (3rd Team, 2022), Jackson Gray (2nd Team, 2023), Mitchell Daly (2nd Team, 2024) and Emilien Pitre (3rd Team, 2024) on that list.

UK also had 40 players named to the 2025 Southeastern Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll.
