Jennifer Lynne Williams, chief development officer at USA Basketball, was also featured at the event.
The Career in Sports Forum focuses on professional development, equipping participants with the tools to navigate their careers effectively. The forum also emphasized the significance of self-awareness and the willingness to adapt and grow, essential traits for success in the sports industry.
“Over these four days I connected with athletes all over the country, learned valued knowledge about leadership and life beyond athletics, and learned more about my own personal and professional development,” Mendenhall said. “Thank you to the NCAA for this incredible opportunity to attend the Career in Sports Forum. Also, a big thanks to the Kentucky Road, UK Athletics, and UK Swim and Dive for allowing me to have this experience.”
