Jack Loutit, Eli Stephenson Earn ITA Doubles All-America Honors

LEXINGTON, Ky.– Sophomores Jack Loutit and Eli Stephenson were bestowed All-America status for their performances on the doubles court during the 2024-25 season, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced Tuesday afternoon.

Loutit, hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, and Stephenson, a Louisville, Ky. native, paired for 25 doubles matches in 2025, compiling an 11-7 record. The duo competed at the No. 1 court for the entirety of the conference season, tallying a 6-5 league record and six ranked wins. Loutit and Stephenson finished the season at No. 10 in the ITA Doubles Rankings, solidifying their All-America status.

In the regular season, Loutit and Stephenson compiled wins over No. 23 Blaydes/Ratiu of Georgia, No. 45 Penzlin/Lofman of LSU, No. 28 Ross/Cox of Vanderbilt, No. 8 Legout/Brown of Texas, and No. 19 Vrba/Smillie.

The team shined in the NCAA Tournament, compiling a 2-0 record and helping the Cats win doubles points in both rounds. In the First Round, Loutit and Stephenson survived multiple match points to deliver the clinching win over Codie and Connor van Schalkwyk of Old Dominion, a team that had featured in the ITA rankings during the season. In the Second Round, the Wildcat pairing defeated No. 22 DK Suresh/Luca Pow of Wake Forest as the Cats became just the third team all season to take the doubles point off of the top-ranked Demon Deacons.

Both athletes have earned their first career All-America honors, with Loutit also holding SEC All-Freshman honors in 2024 and All-SEC Second Team honors in 2025 and Stephenson earning SEC All-Freshman Team and ITA Ohio Valley Region Rookie of the Year laurels in 2024.

2025 marks the second consecutive season in which a Wildcat doubles team have earned All-America honors, with Josh Lapadat and JJ Mercer achieving the feat in 2024. Kentucky now features 31 All-Americans in program history, combining for 42 honors. Loutit and Stephenson are now the 15th Kentucky doubles team to earn All-America status.
