UK Dance Team July 2025 Camps

Big Blue Nation, our most popular youth dance camp returns in 2025!  Join us on July 30th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Campers will learn age-appropriate combos for hip hop, pom and jazz, technique class for all levels, as well as exposure to Kentucky traditions! This is open to individuals and/or teams from Kindergarten – 8th grade. Teams are more than welcome to use this material for performances throughout their season. Join us for a fun day where athletes will have the opportunity to prepare for their fall season in a fun and positive learning environment!

Experience UKDT at our NEW dance summer intensive!  Attendance at this two-day camp is highly recommended if you would like to be considered as a prospect for our team selection for the 2026-2027 dance team or future years. Get to know our program, while we get to know you!

Camp Details

• Grades 8th to college
• Time: Day 1- 2:00PM-5:00PM           Day 2- 9:00AM-12:30PM
• Check-in: Day One-1:00PM   Day Two- 8:30AM
• Location: Seaton Center
• Online registration: $200
• Non-refundable deposit: $50
• Optional 1 minute solo for an additional $45- nonrefundable.  Only 55 spots available. First come first serve.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• DISCOUNT: Employee discount is 15% off the total cost of camp.
• REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR ALL UK ATHLETICS CAMPS: – For the child to participate in camp please upload the following documents to your Active Network Camp Account through the link in your confirmation email. A copy of a physical that was signed by a physician within the last 12 months. Front and back copies of your medical insurance card(s). The camper will not be able to participate in camp until we have received these forms. For all camps, disabilities will be accommodated with advanced notifications.
• REFUND POLICY: Non-refundable deposit: $50
• CAMP STORE: We will have items for sale while supplies last! Cash or check only is accepted. We cannot accept cards, venmo, or paypal. Please bring correct change.
• WHAT TO BRING: Each camper should bring athletic clothing, dance shoes, and their own water bottle/snacks, poms (not required), any missing paperwork.
• COMMUNICATION: After you complete your registration, you will receive a confirmation email. A few days before the camp you will receive another email with more details and instructions about the camp. Please double check that your email address is correct in your Active Network Camp Account as that will be our only method of communication with campers.
• LOCATION: Seaton Center Gymnasium (1210 University Dr.) When searching for directions, it is typically easier to search for the Lancaster Aquatic Center. The Seaton Center is a grey building located on the corner of University and Complex drive. There is a parking garage across the street located on University Dr., or street parking where available. Make sure you check all parking signs, because some areas are ticketed 24/7. I cannot assist you if you get a parking ticket.
