Kentucky Baseball to Face Michigan, Morehead in Fall Exhibitions

by UK ACPR

The road to Omaha begins in October.

Kentucky baseball will play a pair of exhibition games this fall as it prepares to build upon last season’s Super Regional appearance. NCAA rules allow for schools to play two games against outside competition during the fall.

The Wildcats also will travel to Mason, Ohio to face Michigan at Prasco Park on Sunday, October 8, then host Morehead State on Sunday, October 29 at Kentucky Proud Park. Times and additional details will be finalized and released at a later date.

The Cats are entering their eighth season under head coach Nick Mingione and have won 216 games during his tenure, including last spring’s 40-win season that ended in the Super Regional at eventual national champion LSU. It was just the second NCAA Regional championship in program history.
