Ten UKTF Student Athletes Selected To CSC Academic All-District Team
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Ten Kentucky track & field student athletes have been selected to the 2022-23 Academic All-District Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators.
The award recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competitions and in the classroom.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 28 (women) and June 29 (men). Below is a list of those from UK selected to the CSC Academic All-District teams.
Men
- Alexander Justus
- Beck O’Daniel
- Joshua Sobota
- Jacob Sobota
- Aaron Withrow
Women
- Bryanna Lucas
- Phoebe McCowan
- Sydney Steely
- Siobhan Szerencsits
- Juliann Williams
This marks the fourth time Josh Sobota has earned the award and the second time Withrow has been named to the All-District Team. All other athletes are first-time award winners.
Kentucky Track and Field will conclude the 2023 season at the NCAA Division I Championships on June 7 – June 10 in Austin, Texas.
